Event details

All competitors (Both in Fancy dress and normal attire!) will collect their race numbers and timing chip from the registration marquee on Devonshire Road from 8.00am on Race day, here you will also be able to collect your t-shirt and have the opportunity to purchase one for the event!

Road Closures are in place from 7.30am until 12.00pm on Devonshire Road, West Parade, Marina, there will be no access or parking allowed on these roads, if you are travelling in to the event, there is plenty of parking outside of the town centre and surrounding areas, ensure you leave enough time to arrive safely, park and get to registration.

It is flat out and back run, the only incline is a 10m ramp which takes you from the seafront road onto the lower promenade. The seafront road will be closed for runners.

This will be great fun event for everyone where you can take the opportunity to become brides and grooms for just one day. You can run, walk or dash around the newly refurbished promenade whilst having a fabulous time raising funds for the Princes Trust charity.


On the day there will be refreshments, live results, live race updates, music, food and a real party atmosphere. Why not bring the family and make the day extra special, there will be kids races of 500m / 1km / 2km distances before the main 5km Fun Run.  Minimum age for entries is 14 Yrs for Boys and 15yrs for Girls.  No minimum age for the kids races.



Be sure to book your slot early, entries will be limited and this will be a sell out event!
